Control access to virtually any screen, feature or setting in the Collect mobile app.
*Requires mobile app version 2.3.0 or higher
If you are taking advantage of Collect Account Users to easily manage your employees or volunteers, this is likely the most important feature for your organization.
As of Collect for Stripe version 2.3.0, Account User administrators can set precise permissions, specific to each user, directly from the Collect Web Dashboard.
Once set, the mobile app reflects those specific permissions the next time the user signs in or restarts the application. You can go back and edit a user’s permissions at any time.
As usual, this feature is fully optional and flexible. By default, account users have standard access to all features of the mobile app and are not limited. Collect does not require you to set user permissions if it is not necessary.
How to Get Started with Account User Permissions
In the web dashboard, click any of your users’ email addresses (highlighted in blue) to go to the detail / permissions screen.

Check the box saying you would like to limit this user’s permissions.
Select his or her detailed permissions, and press ‘Save’ at the bottom of the screen.

The Collect mobile app reflects your changes the next time the user signs in or restarts the application.
