3D Secure Payments

Since September 2019, European regulations require additional customer verification to take place for credit card transactions called 3D Secure.

This 3D Secure requirement is an additional layer of fraud protection in which the credit card holder will be directed to an Authentication Page where they will approve the transaction.

What do you need to do to use 3D Secure payments?

Nothing. We’ve got you covered. Collect is fully equipped to complete any and all 3D Secure payments.

How it works:

At checkout, after you press Confirm to authorize and complete the payment, the customer will be directed to a separate page in which they will confirm and complete the payment with the their card issuer.

Once the authentication is complete, your device will automatically go back to Collect, close the window, and proceed to the “Successful Payment” screen.
